About The Aviation History & Technology Center
The Aviation History & Technology Center in Marietta houses a growing collection of historic aircraft where visitors explore 15 military and civilian planes, including the interior of a C-141B StarLifter. During a visit, guests can ask questions of knowledgeable staff made up of military veterans, former aviation industry professionals, and aviation enthusiasts. The center sits adjacent to Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Lockheed-Martin, and Clay Army National Guard Center, where aircraft from these facilities are frequently visible and audible overhead. Group and school tours are available seven days a week with advance scheduling, and guided tours are offered on request at 1:00 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The center charges admission for adults, students, and seniors, with hours published on its website.
