About Gone With the Wind Museum at Brumby Hall

Gone With the Wind Museum at Brumby Hall displays Scarlett O'Hara's mourning bonnet and other iconic costumes from the 1939 film, housed in the 1851 historic mansion on the grounds. Visitors tour the collection of rare memorabilia accumulated over 30 years, including the Bengaline Honeymoon gown, Bonnie Blue's riding outfit, Rhett Butler's jacket, and six original Walter Plunkett costume sketches. The museum also features an original Dan Sayre Groesbeck painting from the film's premiere. Beyond the main exhibits, guests can stroll through the gardens surrounding Brumby Hall or visit the Carriage House to see pieces of the film facade of Tara. The museum offers guided tours on select days, with tickets sold online through its website. Adults pay ten dollars for admission, while children under five enter free. Located a mile from historic Marietta Square, the museum charges admission according to published pricing on gwtwmarietta.com.
