About Tampa Firefighters Museum

Tampa Firefighters Museum preserves the heritage of the Tampa Fire Department through exhibits housed in the city's original 1911 firehouse. Visitors walk through living history by viewing antique fire engines, vintage firefighting gear, and artifacts that document generations of service. The museum features a brand-new children's interactive play area and the Downtown Safety District, an interactive exhibit designed for children ages one through eight that educates about safety and healthcare professions. The historic firehouse also functions as a full-service event venue for weddings, corporate gatherings, and community celebrations in downtown Tampa. The Museum Store offers station logo wear, hats, challenge coins, and specialty goods that support the museum's operations. A visit suits families interested in local history, fire safety education, and the stories of those who dedicated their lives to protecting the community.
