Adventure Island in Tampa is Florida's largest water park, where visitors spend their day riding water slides, floating through pools, and playing in splash zones. The park features thrill rides including Vanish Point, a 70-foot drop slide that sends riders through 425 feet of spiraling tubes, and Solar Vortex, America's first dual tailspin raft slide with high-banking rotations. Guests can also ride Caribbean Corkscrew, Aruba Tuba, and Calypso Coaster, or float down Rambling Bayou, a half-mile lazy river. For younger children, Castaway Falls offers an interactive splash area with over 100 play elements, including three giant tipping buckets that dump more than 1,300 gallons combined, four slides, soakers, and spray jets. Shaka-Laka Shores provides another kid-focused zone with 25 play elements in a zero-depth area, while Paradise Lagoon features a net climb and cliff jumps into 9,000 square feet of water. Endless Surf is a 17,000 square foot wave pool with rolling waves every ten minutes. The park operates seasonally, and tickets are sold online.
