Swings and Wings in Alameda is a sensory play facility where children engage with carefully chosen equipment and activities designed to develop skills. Visitors swing, jump, climb, run and participate in creative play using a variety of swings, a bounce house, imaginative play areas, art supplies and puzzles. The space operates as a neuro-affirming environment that accommodates high-energy children and those requiring additional sensory support. The facility hosts birthday parties in its colorful setting and offers drop-in play sessions. Swings and Wings also operates Little Butterflies, a sensory play-based preschool using evidence-based multisensory teaching methods focused on cognitive, social and emotional growth. The organization is developing the Swings and Wings Sensory Museum, designed to curate experiences across all eight senses. Summer camps are available for enrollment.
