Sam's Batting Cages, Melrose Park

About Sam's Batting Cages

Sam's Batting Cages is a nonprofit batting facility in Melrose Park where visitors swing bats in baseball and softball cages. The baseball cages offer a wide range of speeds for recreational play and serious practice. Softball cages accommodate both fast pitch and slow pitch. Visitors can use pitching machines by purchasing tokens at the concession stand, or they can reserve a cage in advance for a set duration. The facility includes arcade games offering throwback entertainment. A concession stand serves snacks and drinks. Visitors bring their own baseball bats or use ones provided, and baseballs and softball gloves are available. Groups, families, and teammates can spend time together outdoors while playing. The facility accepts cash, credit, debit, and Apple Pay. Cages can be reserved by calling, emailing, or contacting the facility through its website.
