Reynolds Nature Preserve in Morrow spans 130 acres of wetlands and woodlands where visitors walk trails and explore the landscape on foot. The preserve features six audio tour stops where guests can learn about the natural environment at their own pace. A Pollinator Garden established in the preserve showcases plants that support insects and wildlife. The property includes historic structures from its farming past, including a barn that still stands from the late 1920s. Judge William H. Reynolds donated the land to Clayton County Parks and Recreation in 1976 with the requirement that it remain undeveloped and natural. The preserve's ponds were created in the late 1930s by damming fresh water springs. The combination of open water, woodland, and cultivated garden areas suits anyone interested in nature study, walking, wildlife observation, or local history.
