About Port Discover
Port Discover fosters science and discovery through hands-on exploration at its center in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Visitors engage with interactive exhibits designed to help them figure out how things work while playing and learning together. The museum maintains special spaces for infants and toddlers under three years old, where younger children explore gently with adult supervision, and older siblings may visit with priority given to little ones. The center features exhibits on water play, engineering challenges, and creative construction alongside opportunities for sensory exploration. Port Discover offers daily admission and annual family memberships that provide unlimited visits; members also receive free or discounted entry to over 300 science centers worldwide through the ASTC Passport Program.
