About Northern Ohio Railway Museum

The Northern Ohio Railway Museum in Seville offers visitors a hands-on look at Ohio's electric railway heritage through historic trolley rides and walking tours. On select Saturdays, guests board beautifully restored streetcars and rapid transit cars on the museum's demonstration track, experiencing the hum of motors and ring of bells during scenic rides. The museum grounds feature a collection of over 40 vintage rail cars that visitors explore on docent-led or self-guided tours through barns filled with transportation history. The Discovery Track provides a dedicated outdoor space for children, with a train play area, coloring station, and a working vintage trolley farebox to examine. All visitors can view the 46-minute film The Trolley, shown in large-screen HD video and available nowhere else in Ohio. Located near the I-76 and I-71 interchange just minutes from Medina, the museum operates Saturdays from late spring through fall, with admission charged to help preserve this living-history experience.
