About North Tahoe Cruises - Tahoe Gal
North Tahoe Cruises operates the Tahoe Gal, Lake Tahoe's only authentic paddle wheeler, departing from Tahoe City on the North Shore. The family-owned business has been operating since 1994 and offers multiple cruise options throughout the operating season. The signature Emerald Bay Cruise is a 3.5-hour journey that passes stunning lakefront estates and hidden coves while providing views of Vikingsholm Castle and Fannette Island. Shorter options include a Happy Hour Cruise lasting 1.5 hours. Specialty cruises feature Full Moon Cruises, a 3-hour evening experience, and Fireworks Cruises celebrating Independence Day. Daily departures with four departure times accommodate different schedules. Chef-prepared lunch is available for purchase on select cruises. The vessel departs from the North Shore of Lake Tahoe near Tahoe City, California, allowing visitors to experience the lake's crystal-clear waters and surrounding Sierra scenery from the historic paddle wheeler.
