Truckee's Historical Haunted Tour is a guided walking tour through historic downtown Truckee that visits six historic sites with a storytelling guide. Visitors walk the streets of downtown Truckee starting at Moody's Bistro and The Historic Truckee Hotel, experiencing dramatic hauntings and humorous stories inspired by the town's past. The tour lasts approximately one hour and thirty minutes to two hours, with tours departing every fifteen minutes. Groups are limited to sixteen people per tour. Participants should wear walking shoes and layered clothing, and bring a small flashlight for later tours. The tour operates regardless of weather conditions. Personalized group tours, called Pick Your Posse, can be arranged for gatherings of friends, business employees or clients. Visitors must be twenty-one years or older and present a valid photo identification for entry. No pets or cameras are permitted on the tour.
