About Riverside Studios

Riverside Studios is an art gallery and gift shop located in downtown Truckee, California. Visitors browse and purchase handcrafted artworks created by the four woman artists who own and operate the studio: Mary Guerra, Alanna Hughes, Kahlil Johnson, and Sondrea Larsen. The gallery displays paintings, pottery, leather goods, jewelry, and metal sculpture. The studio began in 2002 as a working artists space and has since expanded into a thriving business serving both locals and tourists. Riverside Studios has received numerous Best of awards from the Sierra Sun and Tahoe Quarterly publications and was featured in Sunset Magazine and on HGTV. The Truckee Chamber of Commerce recognized the studio with a Best Small Business award. The gallery provides a shopping experience centered on one-of-a-kind artistic goods handcrafted by the resident artists, offering a range of mediums and styles across its collection.
