About KidZone Museum
KidZone Museum in Truckee is an interactive play space for children seven and younger where visitors explore exhibits through open-ended play that develops cognitive, motor, and social skills. Children remove their shoes to play in discovery-focused areas. The museum hosts the Family Farm Festival with farm animals and seasonal crafts, Tree Frog Treks featuring reptiles and amphibians, bilingual singalongs with a Music Together teacher, and puppet and fingerplay sessions. The Family Room program serves children ages zero to four with interactive songs and reading during the school year. Birthday parties, classes, and camps are available to members at discounted rates. A three-year membership priced at four hundred dollars includes a complimentary day lift ticket to Palisades Tahoe for the 2024/2025 season.
