Muscoot Farm is a 777-acre Westchester County park in Katonah where visitors experience history, agriculture, and wildlife. Once a working dairy farm, it now invites families to walk through animal pens and barns to see various breeds of livestock and poultry. Historic buildings dot the property, including the Milk House, Ice House, Brooder House, and Carriage House, alongside the Farm Museum. The park offers more than six miles of scenic hiking trails for observing local wildlife, with routes suitable for different abilities. Special events and educational programs run throughout the year. A seasonal concession stand serves food. Most visits last one to two hours, though families bringing lunch can extend their time exploring the hayfields and trails. Children must observe safety rules around the animals, keeping hands away from enclosures and using quiet voices. The farm is open daily, and there is no entrance fee or parking charge.
