About Lindenhurst Youth Center

Lindenhurst Youth Center is a community gathering space in Lindenhurst, New York, where young people ages 10 through 17 can participate in sports, games, and recreational activities. The facility features two full-size outdoor basketball courts, pool tables, a ping pong table, televisions, computers, and video games. The center operates a Drop-In Lounge open to youth from all villages and hamlets within the Town of Babylon. Throughout the year, the lounge hosts tournaments in pool, ping pong, basketball, and video games, along with parties and social events. The center also organizes field trips to regional attractions including Six Flags Great Adventure, Splish Splash water park, movie theaters, and bowling alleys. Programs are designed to help young people develop social skills and build positive self-image within a safe environment. The center creates opportunities for youth to participate in activities that may not be accessible elsewhere in their community.
