About Lake Erie Nature & Science Center
Lake Erie Nature & Science Center in Bay Village combines live animal exhibits, wildlife rehabilitation services, and a planetarium to connect visitors with the natural world. The Schuele Planetarium, renovated in 2014 with the Fleming Family Projection System, displays over 3,000 stars in 360-degree, high-resolution images across its full dome theater. The facility seats 54 guests comfortably and is wheelchair accessible. General admission is free and includes access to live animal exhibits and natural history and space science displays. The Center operates daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and sits within Huntington Reservation's park setting along Lake Erie's shores. Programs serve preschoolers through adults, including planetarium shows, Astronomy Club monthly meetings for ages twelve and up, and Telescope Night programs. The Center also provides free wildlife rehabilitation services and educational classes for families and children.
