About La Jolla Sea Cave Kayaks
La Jolla Sea Cave Kayaks offers sea cave tours and kayak rentals along the La Jolla coastline in California. The popular 1.5-hour sea cave tours take visitors through five distinct marine environments: sandy beach, rocky reefs, sea cliffs, kelp forest, and deep water canyons. Each habitat supports its own unique flora and fauna, creating exceptional wildlife diversity within a two-square-mile area. During tours, visitors observe dozens of species of marine animals including sea lions, leopard sharks, pelicans, cormorants, and rays. The attraction also features the sea caves themselves, which are central to the experience. Kayak rentals provide equipment and gear for independent exploration. The facility's staff are trained in water safety and local conditions. No prior kayaking experience is necessary for participation. The operation is located at 2164 Avenida de la Playa in La Jolla.
