Japanese Garden of Peace is a tranquil outdoor space on the museum campus dedicated to reflection and remembrance of those affected by the Pacific War. Visitors walk through the garden to contemplate the historical significance of the conflict and its lasting impact. The garden offers a peaceful contrast to the museum's other exhibits, providing a quiet setting where families and individuals can pause and reflect on the personal stories connected to World War II in the Pacific theater. The Memorial Courtyard nearby allows visitors to find plaques and bricks honoring specific individuals. Both the Japanese Garden of Peace and Memorial Courtyard are free to access and remain open daily until 5:00 PM. The garden is located on the museum campus in Fredericksburg, Texas, as part of the larger National Museum of the Pacific War complex. General admission tickets to other museum galleries are sold online through the venue's website.
