Boerne City Lake Park, located about one mile northwest of Boerne, offers outdoor recreation centered on a municipal lake and surrounding grounds. Visitors fish from the pier or boat dock, paddle kayaks across the water, and play disc golf on an 18-hole course. The park includes a covered playground for children, volleyball courts, walking and hiking trails, and a bird observation blind overlooking the area. A butterfly garden provides opportunities for nature observation. Picnic units with grills dot the park, and a covered pavilion seats 75 people for gatherings. The park also features limited WiFi, paved roads and parking, restrooms, and controlled-access gates. All Texas Parks and Wildlife fishing rules apply, requiring a license. No motorized boats are permitted on the lake, which serves as the city's drinking water source. The park operates daily and welcomes residents and guests seeking lakeside activities.
Hours: 5 a.m. – 10 p.m., open 365 days a year
