About Island Ferry of St Pete

Island Ferry of St Pete operates small-group boat tours and kayak excursions on the Gulf Coast near St. Petersburg, with groups limited to a maximum of six guests per boat. The dolphin cruise to Shell Key includes snorkeling at Shell Key Preserve, a barrier island accessible only by boat. Kayak tours paddle through mangrove tunnels to Shell Key's beach in transparent or traditional coastal kayaks. A romantic sunset cruise targets adults only, departing from St. Pete Beach. Private sandbar party charters take groups to secluded Gulf sandbars for swimming and floating, with floats, games, and Bluetooth speakers provided. The company offers private charters to Egmont Key, featuring a historic lighthouse standing since 1858 and snorkeling around an artificial reef and sunken ruins. Passage Key charters deliver five hours of privacy on a secluded sandbar at Tampa Bay's mouth. Tickets are sold online.
