Irvine Park Railroad, Orange

About Irvine Park Railroad

Irvine Park Railroad operates a one-third scale train through historic Irvine Regional Park in Orange, California, taking both children and adults on scenic rides past coastal live oak and giant sycamore groves. The park combines the train with the Orange County Zoo, an eight-acre facility displaying plants native to the southwestern region. Visitors can rent paddleboats for half-hour outings on the park's lake, bikes including double surrey models, or horses by appointment. Pony rides run daily except Mondays, while hiking trails open early each morning. The venue also hosts seasonal events including the Pumpkin Patch, Easter Eggstravaganza, Santa's Village, and Christmas Train. Regular train rides cost eight dollars per person, with a book of fifteen tickets available for one hundred dollars, a twenty-dollar savings. Tickets are sold online through irvineparkrailroad.com, and the venue accepts cash and credit card payments at the train station.
