idea Museum houses The HUB, an interactive gallery where visitors trigger imagination through varied creative stations, alongside ArtVille for children birth to age 4 and idea Lab, exploring art and technology. Guests explore current exhibitions like Artfully Absurd, where they become art detectives and create whimsical creatures, or view portrait work inspired by artist Alanna Airitam. Programming includes Storytimes, visual art exploration, and crafts made from recycled materials. The Atrium provides outdoor snack space and additional activities. idea Museum is a Certified Autism Center with staff trained in specialized support; sensory backpacks, noise-reducing headphones and color-blind glasses are available at the front desk. Families with EBT, SNAP or WIC benefits receive admission for $4 instead of the standard price, and those presenting an EBT card with valid photo ID (limit 6 per family) qualify for the same rate through Museums for All.
