Gallery of Scientific Exploration occupies the first two floors of the Interdisciplinary Science and Technology Building IV on the ASU Tempe campus, where visitors explore interactive exhibits centered on the history of scientific exploration and future discovery. The Gallery features a replica of the NASA Perseverance Rover and a Meteorite Gallery. The building also houses a planetarium with regular shows and free lectures, plus the Mars Space Flight Facility available for tours. Some exhibits are staffed by student docents who can answer questions. The Gallery welcomes families and individuals of all ages to explore the exhibits independently or as part of organized school field trips. More than 30,000 people visit annually. School groups from kindergarten through high school can arrange either in-person visits to the Tempe campus or virtual presentations led by trained undergraduate and graduate students from the School of Earth and Space Exploration.
