The Hoyt Arts Center occupies a historic estate in New Castle and invites visitors to explore art and history through galleries, exhibitions, and hands-on activities. The main galleries feature rotating art exhibitions showcasing various artistic voices and styles. Visitors can tour the Period House, the center's distinctive historic building, either self-guided or with advance booking for a guided experience. The center offers artmaking classes and workshops for all ages, from children to adults, designed to build creative skills and cultural discovery. Summer camps and after-school programs serve younger visitors. Hoyt East provides accessible main galleries and classrooms where visitors move freely between exhibition spaces. The facility offers designated accessible parking for visitors with mobility needs. Many events and exhibitions are free and open to the public.
