About Sperdute Farms

Sperdute Farms is a family-owned farm market in New Castle where visitors pick fresh produce and browse the on-site market building. The farm grows sweet corn, tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, cucumbers, zucchini, pumpkins, watermelons, cantaloupes, squash, Indian corn, and gourds across more than 1,200 acres of owned and leased land. The 25-acre pumpkin patch draws seasonal visitors. The farm hosts an annual fall harvest festival that features food and craft vendors, barbecue, ice cream, kettle corn, hayrides, and pony rides for children. The remodeled market offers a bright, friendly shopping space for fresh local produce. Sperdute Farms participates in regional farmers markets throughout the season. The farm is located on Kildoo Road in New Castle and has been family-operated since its founding, now run by the second generation of Sperdute brothers.
