About House of Torment
House of Torment is a haunted house attraction in Austin, Texas, where visitors walk through themed environments designed to deliver scares and suspense. The venue features multiple distinct attractions that change seasonally. Current offerings include Jason Universe: Survive the Night, an officially licensed walkthrough based on the Friday the 13th franchise where visitors encounter Jason Voorhees emerging from darkness around each turn. Another attraction takes visitors through Site 505, a post-apocalyptic wasteland populated by mutated survivors and biomechanical creatures waging war beneath poisoned skies. A third experience centers on an ancient cult guarding a mysterious book whose pages reveal new symbols each time it opens, with a silent figure watching from the darkness. The haunted houses incorporate jump scares, psychological elements, and detailed set design. Tickets are sold online through the venue's website. The attraction operates on select nights during the fall season.
