About Heaps Giant Pumpkin Farm

Heap's Giant Pumpkin Farm is a working family farm near Minooka where visitors pick their own pumpkins from a 25-acre patch, explore a corn maze and haunted corn maze, and ride hayrides through the countryside. The farm also features multiple playgrounds including Milo's Castle, a Train Station Playground, Tire Mountain, and a Giant Farm Slide. Visitors can see farm animals, pick sunflowers and other flowers during their season, and purchase homegrown products including pumpkins, mums, and straw. The O-Fun Barn and Heap's Home Cookin' serve food featuring locally sourced pork and beef burgers, pumpkin cookies, and apple cider donuts. Evening activities include flashlight mazes and moonlight hayrides. The farm operates daily during fall season, with varying hours for different attractions. Admission is required for activities, though pre-picked pumpkins and plants do not require admission. Tickets are sold online through the venue's website. The property has operated for more than 150 years and is now in its sixth generation of family management.
