About Gone Whale Watching San Diego

Gone Whale Watching San Diego operates daily dolphin and whale watching tours departing from Mission Bay on high-speed custom vessels. Visitors choose between intimate 6-passenger Seafox boats or the Hana Hou, a 36-foot power catamaran accommodating up to 32 guests for public tours. The standard 2.5-hour adventure travels at speeds over 30 mph along the San Diego coastline in search of whales, dolphins, sea lions, and seabirds. Boats feature low-profile designs offering 360-degree unobstructed views and water-level sightings of wildlife. Extended 5-hour tours and Premium Blue Whale Tours run seasonally to outer waters for rarer species. The company also offers private charters and shorter 100-minute tours. Minimum age for Signature tours is 5 years; Extended Trips require passengers 16 and older. Visitors should bring warm clothing, sunscreen, and sunglasses. Tickets are sold online through the venue's website. The dock is located at Mission Bay in San Diego, California.
