About Gearhard Farms

Gearhard Farms' annual corn maze, now in its 27th year, challenges visitors with four distinct activities: navigating to the exit, sketching the design formed by maze paths, answering 20 trivia questions, and spotting 10 animal pictures hidden along the routes. Most visitors spend 30 to 60 minutes completing the maze, which reveals a mystery aerial message upon completion. The farm also offers hayrides through the countryside, a small pumpkin patch where families can select gourds for carving or decoration, and concessions including locally made apple cider. Children ages 4 and younger receive free admission to both the corn maze and hayrides with a paid adult ticket. Gearhard Farms operates weekends throughout the season plus weekday evenings in October, with tickets sold at the entrance or online through gearhardfarms.com. Located in Murrysville, Pennsylvania, the farm sits on property with over 250 years of family history.
