Pleasant Lane Farms is a veteran-owned creamery in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, where visitors tour a working dairy farm and learn about artisan cheese production. The farm's state-of-the-art Smart Barn features robotic milking systems and automated cow care equipment that guests can observe during guided farm tours. The on-site creamery, opened in 2020, produces small-batch farmstead cheeses including cheddar, gouda, cheese curds, quark, jack, colby, feta, and pizza cheese, all made from milk supplied by the farm's own dairy herd. The farm hosts fall cheese pairing events where visitors spend an evening with cheesemakers sampling five to six curated cheese selections, touring the robot room where cows are milked, and viewing where the cattle spend their days. Guest cheeses from elsewhere in Pennsylvania also appear at these events. The Frye family has operated this farmland since 1795, moving to the current location in 1976, and the creamery has earned recognition from the American Cheese Society, World Dairy Expo, and World Cheese Awards.
Pleasant Lane Farms publishes its own offers, and when pleasantlanefarms.com was last read, on , there was none.
The page stays here because the attraction is still worth knowing about, and because we keep checking. If a deal appears on their site, it appears here.
