About Garland Landmark Museum

The Garland Landmark Museum, located at Walnut and Sixth Streets in Heritage Crossing, preserves and presents the history of Garland, Texas through exhibits and collections. Visitors explore displays covering Garland's past and can participate in walking tours of historic downtown Garland. The museum connects to several nearby historic attractions including the Santa Fe Depot, a Pullman Railcar, the Tinsley-Lyles House, the Plaza Theatre, Central Park, and sites within the Travis College Hill District. The museum offers tours and field trips for groups, making it suitable for school classes and organized visitors. Youth programs provide educational opportunities for younger learners.
