About Fresh Gardens

Fresh Gardens is a family-owned farm in the historic Redland growing area of Homestead, Florida, where visitors explore more than one thousand tropical trees during guided farm tours. The farm specializes in Golden Passion fruit, Longans, Lychees, Guava, Carambola, and Dragon Fruit. Tours are led by Farmer Bob and allow guests to walk through the property and learn about the tropical fruit varieties grown there. When fruit is in season and available, the farm offers u-pick opportunities so visitors can harvest their own produce directly from the trees. The farm also sells fresh fruit directly to the public through its on-site shop. A visit suits families and individuals interested in seeing how tropical fruits grow in Florida and learning about local agriculture. Tours are available by appointment, making Fresh Gardens an accessible nature-based activity for those wanting hands-on experience at a working farm.
