About Fort Worth Water Gardens

Fort Worth Water Gardens features three distinct pools designed by renowned architects Philip Johnson and John Burgee, each offering a different sensory experience in downtown Fort Worth. The Quiet Pool invites visitors to walk along still waters for calm reflection. The Aerating Pool showcases playful fountains with rising shapes and soothing water currents. The Active Pool serves as the centerpiece, with dramatic cascading water that creates a roaring spectacle visitors can view from above or experience up close while descending the walkway beside it. Bold geometry and lush landscaping complement the water features throughout the gardens. General admission is free. The gardens stand steps from the Fort Worth Convention Center, providing an urban oasis accessible to anyone seeking a break downtown.
