About Fort Worth Botanic Garden

Fort Worth Botanic Garden spans 120 acres with specific gardens where visitors walk through landscapes: the Rose Garden built with sandstone and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Native Texas Boardwalk with educational stations including a hollow log and balance beams, the Fuller Garden with lighted displays, and the Water Conservation Garden with native plants. The garden hosts children's programs like Little B.I.T.s (Botanists in Training) Nature Club for ages 18 months to 5 years and adult education classes in creative projects such as natural dyes from plants. The site includes the Conservatory and the Botanical Research Institute of Texas with libraries and herbarium open by appointment. SNAP and WIC recipients receive free admission for adults and children under 15 through the Museums4All program; FWISD students under 18 with school ID get free admission from 3 to 6 pm on school days; and teachers with school-issued ID from public or private schools receive free general admission.
