Escape Oakland operates live escape room games in Oakland, California, where visitors find clues and solve puzzles to escape a room within 60 minutes. The facility offers three themed experiences for families, friends, and corporate team-building groups. The Society challenges players aged 9 and up to prove their worth by passing initiation challenges at a mysterious annual soiree of an elite secret society. The Bunker casts visitors as park rangers investigating a hidden bunker belonging to a reclusive scientist found dead in Northern California. The Alchemist transports players to 1925, where they serve as apprentices to Professor Darlin, the world's last serious alchemist, and attempt the ultimate alchemical goal of turning lead into gold. All escape experiences are private, meaning groups are not paired with strangers, though additional people may be added to a booking after it is made.
