About Enterprise Museum

The Enterprise Museum in Enterprise, Florida invites visitors to step back in time and explore the rich heritage of one of Florida's oldest communities, established in 1841. The museum occupies two classrooms displaying local history exhibits. The North Classroom houses the core local history collection, while the South Classroom features the Salon Chat and Gallery display with a rotating Exhibit of the Month. The museum operates Friday through Sunday with hours published on its website. Private tours are available by calling the museum directly. The Enterprise Preservation Society, which operates the museum, also hosts community events including the annual Wing Ding Competition featuring a chicken wing eating contest and cornhole competition with live entertainment. The museum's mission encompasses historical and educational preservation of Enterprise's heritage and natural resources.
