About DeLand Naval Air Station Museum

The DeLand Naval Air Station Museum preserves military history through exhibits of vintage artifacts, documents, photographs, books, videos, and memorabilia related to land, air, and sea service. Visitors tour the museum building, a 1920s-era residence listed on the National Register of Historic Places and one of the last World War II structures remaining at the DeLand Airport Complex. The all-volunteer museum educates youth and adults about the service and sacrifices of veterans through public exhibits and programs. The museum is staffed entirely by volunteers and offers public tours on Wednesdays and Saturdays mornings, with last tours departing before noon. Large groups, including Volusia County ECHO Rangers, may arrange appointments by phone or email. The museum is located in DeLand, Florida, and operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring those who have served in America's armed conflicts.
