About Dixon Nature Reserve
Ruth Edwards Nature Center in Dixon offers hands-on exploration of the natural world through guided activities and seasonal programming. Visitors participate in Birding 101 classes to learn bird identification and observation skills. The center leads Caves Tours for those interested in underground geology and cave ecosystems. Sculpting Spring programs invite participants to create art inspired by seasonal themes. The nature center hosts an Earth Day Farmers Market featuring local vendors and products. Pallets in the Park, an Earth Day celebration event, brings the community together for outdoor activities and marketplace experiences.
