Darkness Rising Haunted Attraction, Copiague

About Darkness Rising Haunted Attraction

Darkness Rising Haunted Attraction features two themed haunted houses accessible on a single admission in Copiague, New York. Twisted Tales: The Nightmare Realm takes visitors through corrupted fairytale environments where classic stories have turned dark, with sinister characters and elaborate scenery woven throughout. Dead City immerses guests in an urban outbreak scenario with abandoned streets, ruined buildings, and underground spaces overtaken by the living dead. Both experiences use professional actors, detailed sets, special effects, darkness, loud sounds, and strobe lighting to create an intense atmosphere. The fully indoor attraction typically takes about twenty minutes to navigate. For families with younger children, Not So Scary offers a daytime alternative featuring the same immersive sets and friendly characters without jump scares or intense frights, recommended for ages six and up. Darkness Rising has operated as a local, family-owned business since 2006, redesigning its themes and environments each season. Tickets are sold online through the venue's website.
