Climb Capuchin is an indoor rock climbing gym in Houston where visitors scale walls using different climbing techniques. The facility offers bouldering, where climbers ascend ropeless walls typically ten to twenty feet high, and top rope climbing, where two climbers work together with a rope anchored at the top. Auto belay devices are available for climbers who prefer climbing without a partner belayer. The gym also features lead climbing, where climbers clip into installed protection as they ascend. First-time visitors receive gym orientation and a climbing proficiency test. The facility offers climbing classes for adults and youth ages twelve and up, including the two-hour Sending for Starters class that covers fundamental climbing instruction and safety.
