Children's Museum of Oak Ridge is an interactive educational museum where visitors learn through hands-on exhibits spanning science, art, and history. The museum features over 20,000 objects and archival holdings that children explore in non-traditional gallery spaces, including exhibits like the Mars Rocket Room, Coal Mine, Ed Westcott Room, Waterworks, and World of Trains. The venue offers fall break camps for children in grades K–3 with morning, afternoon, or all-day options. Visitors include school groups using downloadable tour maps to navigate different exhibit starting points, as well as families and educators seeking supplemental learning experiences. The museum publishes admission prices online and operates Tuesday through Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Children 1 and under enter free; SNAP EBT cardholders receive free admission for the cardholder and up to three guests. ACM Reciprocal Network members receive 50 percent off general admission for up to six people, and ASTC Passport members receive free admission for two adults and four children.
