About Channel Islands Adventure Company
Channel Islands Adventure Company is an authorized concessioner in Channel Islands National Park near Santa Barbara, offering sea cave kayak tours and guided snorkeling. Visitors paddle kayaks to explore dozens of sea caves featuring arches, hidden passages, and expansive caverns accessible within a short paddle from launch. The company provides guided snorkeling tours in the Channel Islands Marine Sanctuary surrounding Santa Cruz Island, where snorkelers encounter giant kelp forests and diverse marine life. Experienced guides lead kayak tours and share facts about the islands' flora, fauna, and history. Self-guided snorkeling is also available, with equipment rentals including wetsuits, masks, fins, and snorkels provided at the on-island shop. Channel Islands Adventure Company operates outdoor education programs for school groups, with hands-on activities including kayaking, hiking, camping, and birding that explore the natural history of the islands. The company has led hundreds of educational trips since 1999.
