About Carolina Raptor Center
Carolina Raptor Center is a zoo featuring birds of prey, where visitors walk a three-quarter-mile trail through Latta Nature Preserve to encounter more than thirty avian ambassadors from around the world. The center operates daily with included visitor programs offering educational experiences about raptor protection. Guests explore the Raptor Trail at their own pace among uneven woodland terrain with benches for resting. The facility also operates a Raptor Hospital treating injured birds. Special events include Breakfast with the Birds, where visitors dine among the raptors, Raptor Tales storytelling sessions exploring bird behavior and ecology, and Owl-o-ween activities. The attraction is located in Huntersville, North Carolina. SNAP and WIC cardholders receive free general admission for a party of up to four people, and members of Indigenous Tribal nations receive free admission upon identification to guest services.
