Butterfly Lodge Museum is a log cabin built in 1913 in Greer, Arizona, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Visitors walk through the over 100-year-old structure to see original floors, windows, a fireplace, and artifacts belonging to its former residents. The lodge was built as a hunting cabin for James W. Schultz, a writer whose work drew inspiration from the surrounding meadows and mountains. His son Hart Merriam Schultz, known as Lone Wolf, later made the cabin his home and created painted images and sculptures of the West there. The cabin's name, "Apuni Oyis" in Blackfeet, refers to the countless butterflies in the area. Visitors can explore the history of these two talented men and their connection to local frontier life and Native American culture. The museum also features a gift shop and a pavilion for gatherings.
