About Astronomy Discovery Center

Astronomy Discovery Center in Flagstaff, Arizona offers hands-on exploration of astronomy and space science through interactive exhibits and stargazing. Visitors explore the Orbits Curiosity Zone children's exhibit hall, the Stardust Lab Astronomy Gallery for all ages, and the Origins Gallery, an artistic journey through the evolution of the universe from the Big Bang to the emergence of life on Earth. The center includes the Giovale Open Deck Observatory with six advanced telescopes, the historic Clark Telescope, and the Pluto Discovery Dome. A general admission ticket also grants access to the rooftop Dark Sky Planetarium and the option to add a ticket for the Lowell Universe Theater, which features a 160-degree LED screen for short films and live presentations. The facility suits all ages and combines museum exhibits with actual telescope observation under Flagstaff's protected dark skies.
