About Buhrmaster Farms

Buhrmaster Farms is a family-owned farm stand and pick-your-own destination in Scotia, New York. Visitors select and harvest their own strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries from working farm fields. The farm also operates cut-your-own flower fields where guests create their own fresh bouquets from the blooming rows. The farm stand sells fresh produce, vegetables, and fruits grown on-site, along with Community Supported Agriculture shares and dry goods. Additional offerings include Christmas trees in multiple sizes and varieties, hand-crafted wreaths, kissing balls, and holiday centerpieces. The farm provides landscaping supplies including premium mulch in various types, screened compost, and topsoil available for delivery or pickup. Families pick berries in uneven fields, so comfortable shoes and water are recommended. Children must stay with an adult while harvesting. Staff members, called the Berry King or Queen, direct visitors to picking areas and help locate the best fruit hidden beneath leaves. The farm has been family-operated for over 75 years.
