About Hicks Orchard

Hicks Orchard is New York's oldest u-pick orchard, operating since 1905. Visitors pick their own apples from varieties including Macs, Cortlands, Ruby Macs, Autumn Crisp, Honeycrisp, Liberty, Empire, and Macoun. The Barn Store stocks fresh cider donuts, homemade fudge, and handmade gifts by local crafters. The orchard also sells fresh-pressed cider, Hicks Orchard apple butters, jams, jellies, fruit syrups, BBQ sauces, and condiments. Spice and meal prep kits, local honey, and maple syrup round out the retail offerings. The historic 1935 Slyboro Ciderhouse tasting room on-site features estate-made hard cider and serves as an art gallery. The orchard rents its event space for birthday parties, retirement parties, bridal showers, and corporate events. Located in Granville, New York, the Barn Store and Slyboro Ciderhouse are open daily, with tickets for u-pick experiences sold online through the venue's website.
