The Woodruff-Fontaine House Museum is a French Victorian mansion built in 1871 on Memphis's historic Millionaires Row. Visitors explore a home furnished entirely with period antiques while learning about the families who lived there: carriage maker Amos Woodruff and later businessman Noland Fontaine, who occupied the house until 1929. Self-guided tours visit all three floors of the mansion, including parlors, bedrooms, and dining areas that showcase Victorian furnishings, decorative arts, and household artifacts. Tours can be modified for special interests and different age levels. The first floor is handicapped accessible with facilities available in the Carriage House. The museum is operated by the Memphis Chapter of the Association for the Preservation of Tennessee Antiquities and offers visitors the opportunity to experience how wealthy Memphis families lived during the Victorian era.
