About Fire Museum of Memphis

The Fire Museum of Memphis occupies the historic Fire Engine House No. 1 in downtown Memphis. Visitors explore interactive attractions designed to engage people of all ages while learning about firefighting. Memphis Fire Department Education Specialists are on duty throughout the museum to discuss fire safety with guests. The museum preserves the history of the Memphis Fire Department and teaches fire and life safety to thousands of area students annually. The gift shop offers fire and rescue-related products including jewelry, toys, and t-shirts. The museum also hosts private events such as birthday parties, business seminars, and wedding receptions within its distinctive venue space. The museum is located in Memphis, Tennessee.
