About Mallory-Neely House

The Mallory-Neely House is a historic house museum in Memphis's Victorian Village Historic District where visitors take guided tours through a home preserved nearly intact from over one hundred years ago. The house retains its original historic interiors, furniture, and artifacts, offering a visceral experience of how a family lived in the early twentieth century. Visitors explore the parlors, bedrooms, and dining areas decorated with period furnishings and personal belongings. The home was occupied by Miss Daisy Neely Mallory, who moved there as a child and lived there until her death in 1969, preserving the residence in pristine condition throughout her lifetime. After operating as a museum under the Daughters of the American Revolution, the house was gifted to Memphis in 1985 and has been operated as a historic house museum since 1987. Guided tours are available by advance reservation.
